A student of V.S.K.D has access to a wide variety of facilites. For the intellectual development, there is an excellent library, the 'Kavi Quil' Literary Association and Talent Bank. The school also offers training in a variety of sports including Basketball, Table Tennis, Volley Ball, Ball Badminton, Kho-Kho, Tennikhoit and Shuttle-cock.

Training is also offered in Karate and Indoor games such Chess and Carrom as well as outdoor games, track and field.
     
 
  Sports Day
 

For the aesthetically inclined, training in dance, Veena, Painting, Drawing, Playing Musical Instruments are some of the Facilities the girls enjoy.

Community Service also forms an integral part of the curriculum. Students chose from a variety of activities including tree planting, keeping a clean environment, helping the poor, orphans, handicapped and less fortunate brethren. There is a Guide Unit and a Red Cross Unit.
   
  Religious Activities
   
  Bhajan classes are conducted every week to inculcate spiritual outlook. It is our Founder's wish that all girls should be pious and have pride in Indian Culture and Religion. Hence we celebrate Vinayaga, Saraswathi Pooja, Karthigai Deepam and Thiruvathirai in a fitting manner.
